Call to undefined function: getmygid()

hello. I've read the previous postings and the manual over and over and i still can't install the calendar correctly. I tried with and without the installer. the latest error is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getmygid() in /nfs/cust/9/80/15/251089/web/a/install.php on line 224

Hi,

I had the same problem. Re-upload your files and make sure you have ASCI transfeer mode selected in you ftp program.

I am getting this error on my external server but not on my internal server!!!!!!! I thought it was the ASCI thing but no go. NEED HELP

same problem :(
