How do I create a non-linking 'label' or 'caption' menu item?

Hi folks.

I could really do with a number of subheadings in my menu structure, which do not act as (even self-referential) hyperlinks but rather as just plain text with neither mouse-over effects nor onclick action.

Is there a way to do this? I did see a previous thread which included this query, but no response to this point,

To disable link just put null as the item's link. See demo files for the example.

Rollover effects can be assigned on per item basis with PRO and GOLD versions. Free version doesn't support this feature.
